The client
Global Action Plan (GAP) is an environmental charity that tackles the root causes of climate change and the nature crisis by producing research, campaigns and collective action that reconnect human and environmental health.
Having previously worked with GAP in 2018 when I was commissioned by them to rebrand the charity, and having worked on a number of projects since, in late 2022 I was asked to design their first public-facing impact report, celebrating and showcasing the key achievements made through their projects during the year.
The brief
– To create an engaging report that showcases the organisation’s work.
– GAP would supply imagery from projects, to bring stories to life.
– Infographics were needed to visually represent complex ideas
Collaboration
GAP asked if I was able to recommend a copywriter; I was delighted to be able them to introduce Fiona Thompson, who is a hugely experienced write, and whose credentials and experience were perfectly matched to the client and project. Fiona and I worked extremely closely to ensure that the written content and the visual imagery communicated the message in the most effective way, while creating a document that was vibrant, informative and pacy throughout.
